Massage Therapy
Evan's Massage Therapy sessions are tailored to release tension, restore mobility and promote lasting relief. Using a blend of deep tissue techniques, trigger point release, myofascial work and soft tissue and joint mobilization, he addresses both the source of discomfort and surrounding imbalances. Each treatment is customized to your needs, helping you move with greater ease and feel your best.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture involves the gentle insertion of fine pins at specific points on the body to stimulate energy flow and promote natural healing. When tailored to your specific needs, a treatment is often combined with Tui Na massage, cupping or moxibustion for maximum effectiveness.
ICBC Acupuncture
Acupuncture services specifically for ICBC patients. Select this treatment if you have an open claim number and would like direct billing to ICBC.
Cupping, Gua Sha and Tui Na Massage
Cupping therapy uses glass suction cups to stimulate blood flow, release muscle tension, and promote healing by drawing toxins to the surface. Gua Sha involves stimulating the skin with smooth-edged jade to improve circulation and reduce inflammation. It is particularly helpful for joints where cupping is impractical. Tui Na is a therapeutic massage that uses rhythmic pressure and soft tissue manipulation to balance the body's Qi and relieve pain.
Relaxation Massage
Relaxation Massage is a fusion of styles Amanda has learned from around the world. Her previous experience as a spa massage practitioner and dabbling in spiritual cleansing weave together in this unique treatment.
Swedish massage, Thai massage, foot reflexology, cranio sacral therapy, acupressure and reiki are used and on request, end with chimes or a sage clearing to bring about deep relaxation and spiritual cleansing.
Note: This is not Registered Massage Therapy and does not qualify for extended health coverage.
Foot Reflexology
Reflexology massage focuses on applying pressure to specific points on the feet that correspond to different organs and systems in the body. The map of the body used draws from Egyptian and modern foot reflexology as well as meridian points and channels.
This gentle technique promotes relaxation, improves circulation and supports overall balance and well-being. It's a deeply soothing therapy that helps reduce stress and encourages the body's natural healing.
Chinese Herbal Medicine
Chinese Medicine uses carefully selected herbs, (which are organic when possible) to support the body's natural healing processes and restore vitality. Formulas are tailored to your unique needs, addressing underlying causes for presenting symptoms. These herbs can help improve sleep, promote healthy metabolism, reduce inflammation and most importantly harmonize Qi.
Choose this treatment category if you wish to use herbal medicine without acupuncture and bodywork.
